We dream
in code.

We custom-build the functionality WordPress does not ship with, AI operations stacks for small businesses that already have a website, and mobile apps when the work belongs in a pocket.

What we do

Three kinds of work, one habit: build the missing piece.

Most of what we ship starts as somebody saying "there should be a plugin for this," and then finding out there isn't one that does it properly.

Custom WordPress functionality

Plugins and block themes built for how a site actually runs, not how a page builder wants it to. Clean uninstalls, no telemetry, no visitor tracking.

AI stacks for small businesses

Operations layers for companies that already have a WordPress site — intake, triage, drafting and reporting wired into the tools they own, not a new platform to migrate to.

Mobile apps

When the job is standing up, walking around or out of signal, it belongs in an app. Eventigram came out of exactly that problem.

Why the pieces fit

Different sectors, the same four records.

A magazine, a hotel, a neighborhood association, or any other niche online community property look nothing alike until you ask what they actually keep track of. They all run on a person, a date, a booking, or a content post — and they all enter each of them three or four times, in three or four places, then reconcile the difference by hand.

Entered once

A person

  • Public profile and archive page
  • Byline, host credit or staff listing
  • Earnings and payouts, per item
  • Author block in the newsletter
Entered once

A date

  • Listing on the relevant pages
  • Calendar feed and syndication out
  • This week's issue of the newsletter
  • The promoter's own placement
Entered once

A booking

  • Inventory reserved, exclusively, for a window
  • Paid for at the moment it is booked
  • Honored everywhere it was sold
  • Reported back without tracking anyone
Entered once

A content post

  • The article, and its section and topic pages
  • The byline, and what that piece earned
  • This week's issue of the newsletter
  • Pushed out to social and syndication

The owner sees what is sold. Contributors see what they earned. Advertisers and guests book directly, and the email thread is just for notification. Promoters submit events once instead of chasing somebody. Staff stop re-typing the same thing into four screens.

Solutions

Each one works alone. Together they stop duplicating each other.

ADRS

In testing

Advertiser Direct Reservation System. Your own direct advertisers, never a third-party network. A central hub holds all the information — your sites, their ad zones and every booking; a thin client on each site renders what the hub decides. Exclusive windows, five targeting tiers, signed requests, and daily counts only — no IP, no user agent, no session.

Automated Newsletters

In development

An issue assembled from what the site already published this week — posts, events and the placements that were sold — rather than from a separate editor nobody remembers to open. You only add the extras you want included.

Writer Profile & Earnings

In development

One contributor record behind the public profile, the byline and a private dashboard. Earnings are calculated from the piece itself — a share of the ad revenue that post actually earned — and you can also set a fixed rate, or an advance drawn down against what the post goes on to earn. Built for an outlet paying a dozen freelancers, not for an enterprise HR system.

Booking

In development

Rooms, tables, units, boats, bikes, buggies and slots, on the same availability engine that reserves ad inventory. Inclusive date windows, no double-booking, payment taken when the reservation is made rather than chased afterwards.

EventzPipeline

In development

The two-way events engine. An owner, promoter or venue posts once and it syndicates out across every connection they have built — their own website, their social pages, partner calendars, niche listing sites — and pulls matching events back in from theirs. RSVPs made on any platform sync back in real time, so the attendance number is the same everywhere it appears.

Eventigram

Live

The right-now app. Take a photo or up to fifteen seconds of video, post it, and one tap notifies the people who are both nearby and interested in that category — friends, a private circle you choose, or the public. Chat, live geolocation and one-tap ride hailing get everyone to the same place before it is over.

eventigram.com →

Two event products, deliberately. EventzPipeline is for a scheduled event that needs to appear in many places and stay accurate in all of them. Eventigram is for something happening right now, told to people close enough to come. Hospitality uses both. Magazines, communities, city guides, promoters and event owners want EventzPipeline. Quizzes & Surveys

In development

Short-form capture for communities that need to know what their members think without buying a survey platform. Results stay on the site, and no IP addresses are recorded.

AFX

In development

Freight and logistics transactions, as a plugin. The shipper, carrier and broker pipeline — quoting, booking, GPS tracking, automated notifications, advances and settlements, ratings and reporting — packaged for an open-source website rather than sold as a platform to migrate onto. Run it as an intermediary network of vetted members, or wholly inside your own site to manage only your own freight. Also available inside i2MCMS.

Industry

We build for the sectors nobody built for.

Fragmented markets — the ones made of hundreds of small operators rather than a handful of large ones — get served last and worst. That is where the gaps are, so that is where we work.

Hospitality

Independent hotels, restaurants and rental properties currently taking bookings by email form and phone.

  • Promotion Place offers or event listings where guests already are
  • EventzPipeline Your events on your site, auto-shared onward
  • Eventigram Tell the people nearby that it is happening now
  • Booking Tables, rooms, boats, bikes, buggies and more, without double-booking

Magazines

Online publications paying contributors and selling their own advertising.

  • AI Stacks Research, drafting and triage on the site you have
  • Writer Profile & Earnings One record, profile to payout
  • Automated Newsletters Issues built from what you published
  • EventzPipeline Post once, syndicate both ways, RSVPs stay accurate

Communities

Associations, neighborhood groups and member sites run largely by volunteers.

  • Automated Newsletters The weekly, without the weekly scramble
  • EventzPipeline Members submit, the calendar fills itself
  • Quizzes & Surveys Ask the membership, keep the answers

Ask us about AFX in an AI-driven 360 operations environment. The card above is AFX built for an open-source website. The same shipper, carrier and broker pipeline also runs inside i2MCMS as a full 360 operations environment, with many additional tools a single plugin cannot carry — transportation, supply chains and rentals, end to end, on one transaction record.

Our approach

Imagine. Evaluate. Develop.

Any new endeavor that intends to succeed has to answer two questions first: why does this exist, and what benefit does it provide?

01

Imagine

Start from the manual process somebody is doing four times a week, and describe what it would look like if they did it once.

02

Evaluate

Check whether it already exists and works. Most of the time it half-exists, and the half that is missing is the half that matters.

03

Develop

Build the smallest version that proves the round trip, hand it to I2 Publishing to run against real traffic, then harden it for somebody else's site.

About

We develop and manage applications that automate what people do manually every day.

Our focus is geared toward identifying underserved and fragmented industry sectors and demographics — and then building the thing that sector has been doing by hand.

Intech Creative has been building since 2012. The first product came out of a simple observation: the events worth telling people about are the ones happening right now, and by the time one reaches a listing it is usually over. Eventigram was built for that gap — the first just-in-time event syndication and notification app, free, geolocated, and designed so that a photo or fifteen seconds of video taken on the sidewalk becomes a notification to people nearby — or to those you choose to share with privately — the ones in close proximity and interested in the category.

The same instinct runs through everything since. Advertisers booking space on small publications, volunteers assembling a community newsletter, an independent hotel taking reservations by phone — all of them doing by hand what ought to happen once.

"We redefined the way people will capture and share events, some of which previously went unnoticed." Bruce T. Dugan, announcing Eventigram, January 2016
